We are the Bridge to Normal living

A Better Tomorrow

A Better Tomorrow is a Community Interest Company (CIC) that was established in August 2014. We started with just one house giving support with addiction and substance misuse recovery. Our abstinence based, residential recovery project soon built a very positive reputation, providing high level supported housing to adults who are in recovery from alcohol and drug addiction with a strong working partnership with Telford and Wrekin council.

In 2017 we then diversified and started helping and supporting people with Mental Health and wellbeing needs and opened our Wellbeing Houses. Kath, a founding director has a true passion to help people with mental health issues through lived experience. This has given people in Telford and Wrekin area the much needed support with their Mental Health and Wellbeing needs.

In 2021 we opened accommodation to help people who have become homeless, this is through our early intervention housing. Our goal is to empower and give people the much needed support they need to change their lives positively. This may lead to a move to our Abstinent houses, Wellbeing houses, or alternative accommodation away from the project. Depending on each individuals needs, and when they have acquired the right skills to live independently, we will help find the best pathway for each individual.

We are based in the Telford area but are happy to accept referrals from outside of the local area. We provide support to clients who are committed and motivated towards making life changing decisions and feel they are ready to move forward positively with their lives. Our aim is to provide clients with the skills needed for everyday living, without the use of mind altering substances. We provide practical on-going support within the community, introducing self-management skills and the ability to monitor self-behaviour.
